Customer Evaluations

This is my to begin with Seiko. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive dress watch but devoid of illimunated hands/markers, a leather band, and no backlight. Also, as I travel regularly, the stem for it is extremely hard to pull out which is a royal pain when switching time zones. My prior stainless "casual" watch just croaked. I had the battery changed years ago and opening the case apparently introduced adequate moisture into the interior so that it has corroded more than the past 5 years. So, wanted a stainless casual watch, comfy enough for everyday wear, tough sufficient to wear all the time, minimal fluff (I just will need to know what time it is) and self powering so that I don't have to be concerned about the above concern. This fits the bill pretty nicely and looks decent adequate that I can wear it to work as nicely. So far (1 week) rather accurate and that is about all I ask from a watch. The stem appears to be significant sufficient that I can alter time zones as need to have also which is a bonus.
3 month update. Not substantially several from above. It is been accurate, dependable and I've gotten several compliments on it. Pretty heavy stainless steel physique band which I like - unquestionably a "manly" watch. I have quit thinking about it and started to rely on it being utterly correct - which is highly high praise indeed. The date window could be a tiny much easier for 43 year old eyes to see at a glance, but that is me acquiring older even more than the watch. Otherwise, it has been every little thing I expected. As above, my first Seiko, surely not my final if it continues like this.
9 month update. See above. I have bifocals now so seeing the date is no longer an concern. I wear it day-to-day, it keeps perfect time and I don't even believe about it. Aboslutely 100% dependable to date. Very advised.

I was searching for a nice, expert, and dependable watch. I am not enamored with additional bells and whistles. I want my watches to tell me the correct time and date devoid of the necessity of a battery or constant movement necessary with automatics. I don't want a watch to tell me the month, no matter if its day or night, military time, nor the time of another time zone. Maintain it simple and precise.
This watch has a very sleek style, has a excellent sized face without being clunky, and possesses the qualities of just about every Seiko Kinetic watch. I do not have to get rid of it to type or dictate. This will be the watch I will wear day-to-day for the subsequent a variety of years.
