Ive read unfavorable reviews here about this watch. If I were paying over 22.00 bucks for the watch, I would still believe its a great deal. The individuals who say they cant see the digital element on the watch face, should operate inside a dimly lit location, or they are not familiar with reverse LCD. It operates sorta like e-ink, the digits that dont change every single second use no power to display. Take the watch outside, in the sun and the digital portion reads fine. This is a substantial watch, which means heavy and bigger than a regular sized watch.
If you need perfection in a watch, dont decide to purchase this watch. If you want a cheaply priced watch that looks a great deal more expensive than it price, decide to buy this watch.
The color is indeed a lot darker than the picture suggests. It is not gunmetal gray, but a variation of what appears to be dark chrome. Extremely dark. The pushbuttons are chrome, vibrant chrome. The band also has a plastic/rubberized material the initially four links of the band from each end of the face.
The dial reads "Japan Movement".
I have to say it is a wonderful watch. I like the truth that it really is heavy in weight and straightforward to operate. The band nevertheless is significantly more of a gun-metal or chrome in colour, considerably darker than pictured. General, it does what it is made for.
